Your wedding should be one of the best days of your life, and one way to ensure that is to have wedding planners who know how to make that happen. Weddings are also a bit of a whirlwind, and sometimes it’s hard to remember all those beautiful moments. We make a point to stop our brides for just a second to remind them to stop and take in the moment. There are a lot of brides out there, so I thought I’d share the wealth, and let you in on the moments we remind our brides to take in!
Putting on your dress is special because it is shared with your closest friends. You chose this dress specifically for this occasion. Whether you’re the kind of girl who has been dreaming of that perfect dress for years or had never thought about it when you walked in that dress shop, you chose that dress to wear while committing yourself to the person you love. Taking the time to put it on with your mom, sisters, and best friends is a moment that should be remembered.
The First Look
Some brides feel pressured in this moment to move on as there are typically photos to be taken after the fact. While there is a timeline to follow in order to keep the day on track, this is one moment that shouldn’t be rushed, but enjoyed. Brides, take this time to enjoy being with your groom and looking forward to the rest of your day together.
The Big Entrance
All these people are here to support you. Some have travelled a long way; some have helped you plan this exact moment. When the bride enters, it is such a special moment. The man you love is standing at the end of the aisle waiting for you, as all of the people you love support your union. We encourage our brides to take their time taking in this moment, and enjoying all of the love that is in the room.
This moment is more of a photo op than a memory. Right before my couples walk out for the night, I tell them to stop halfway through their sparklers, glow sticks, confetti, whatever they’ve chosen and kiss. it makes for a great photo!
What is most important is that you enjoy your wedding day! Take a breathe and remember those special moments!
