Sadly, we’re having to say goodbye to Bachelorette Week. I’ve had a blast sharing some of my favorite parties and tips with you guys this week. To end it with a bang we’re talking about the bachelorette party we’re all familiar with, the GNO. The typical bachelorette party is a full on, crazy, girls’ night out. It’s a major scene in many rom coms. It’s the topic of conversation for days (or weeks) after. It’s some of the best memories with girlfriends (foggy as they may be). So how do you plan a bachelorette party that’s memorable, fun, and not the same as the last three girls in your girl squad? If a night out is your go-to for a bachelorette party, I imagine it’s not your first girls’ only night. So how do you make a bride’s last girls’ night out as a single lady special? I’ve come up with some of the most fun and creative things to add to your bach party to make it memorable!
Every good bachelorette party needs a good filter on Snapchat! You can use Snapchat’s on-demand geofilters with the text of your choice or upload your own! It’s a great time to call in a favor to that graphic design friend. Visit their website and pick the style, location, and date!
Bach Party Tattoos
I love a flirty bachelorette party tattoo! Get some for all of the girls, and everyone will know you’re here to have a good time. It might get you a few free drinks too! You can order these cute Bachelorette Party tattoos on Etsy.
The Bach is a bachelorette party-planning app to help you check out some of the best bars or clubs on the area. This is great for anyone planning a party that’s out of state and isn’t particularly familiar with the area. It can help with putting together an itinerary so you’re not left standing around trying to decide what to do next, and with guest lists and RSVPs.
I’m not kidding about this one. This is a real thing. Even if you do want a fun, crazy night out, it doesn’t mean you want guys getting in the way of your girl time, and it doesn’t mean you want crazy fun that involves men in any way. Basically, fun doesn’t equal strippers. Enter the ManServant. He is a hired gentleman who waits on you hand on foot. He can act as a bodyguard for the night fending off unwanted attention. He will hold your purse while you dance the night away. He will serenade you if you ask. The only bad news is ManServants are only available in certain areas. (Otherwise, I’d be hiring one to help me paint furniture this weekend.)
The Perfect Playlist
The perfect night out needs the perfect music to go with it. Whether you’re a group of country girls or serious rap enthusiasts, you need a playlist to give the night that perfect vibe. Personally, I am a firm believer that no GNO is complete with a few power anthems from Queen Bey herself, but that’s just me. If you’re the maid of honor, send a group message to the rest of the invitees for song suggestions. Try to incorporate everyone’s taste into the playlist at least a little. But keep in mind, it is most important that the bride is having a great time. If classic country is her jam, then put on some Dolly and pretend you know all the lyrics, (and throw in a few songs from Lemonade for yourself)!
The Bachelorette Scavenger Hunt
Have a scavenger hunt of outlandish tasks for each member to partake in. The girl with the most points wins! Use this one from Pinterest for some unexpected fun at your party. But, remember your crowd. If most online scavenger hunts are a little too scandalous for your girls, build your own.
Lastly, remember it’s always important to be responsible. If you plan to enjoy yourself and have a few too many, designate someone to drive and be there to make sure everyone’s safe. Have a trusted friend be your DD and there to ensure no one’s going to get themselves into any trouble. Safety first!
